I am constantly amazed of the creativity of my students. It is one of the reasons, if not the primary reason, that I absolutely love my work as an educator. As in my own studio process, I push for exploration in imagery and materials in my students.  This is of course after they have learned the traditional approach to painting and drawing in my classes. What is presented here is just a small collection what my students have done over the years with a mix of traditional painting techniques, a combination of that with new processes and materials, or a direct experimental approach.  I believe most of them, if not all, will end up far outshining me and I’m just fine with that.
